How to Do a Hard Refresh of Your Browser & Clear Your Cache to See Updates in eSign

By November 19, 2020 No Comments

We sometimes ask you to do hard refresh of your browser cache because some of the changes we’ve made to the eSign platform aren’t visible unless you do so. Think of it this way: your browser is loading the cached version, so most often times you won’t see all or any of the new features unless you clear the cache and do a hard refresh so that you can see the new content.

The commands vary slightly depending on what operating system you are using and what browser you are using. We suggest you use Chrome or Firefox with eSign.

Using Chrome with a Windows machine:

Hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button or you can hold down Ctrl and press F5.

Using Chrome with a Mac:

Hold down Shift and click the Reload button or hold down Command, Shift and click the ‘R’ key.

Using Firefox with a Windows machine:

Hold down Ctrl, Shift and the ‘R’ key or hold down Ctrl and press F5.

Using Firefox with a Mac:

Hold down Command, Shift and the ‘R’ key or hold down Shift and press the reload button.

These are the simplest ways to do a hard refresh, remember, there are other ways, too. If these aren’t working for you for some reason, let us know.
